Bahrain's banking sector is concentrated and the branch estates are small enough that a programme can cover every branch in a wave. For a retail bank that removes the sampling caveat entirely, which materially changes how the internal league table can be used.

The causeway traffic between Bahrain and the Eastern Province means weekend customer profiles at Manama and Seef retail differ substantially from weekday. Programmes that sample only weekdays measure a different customer base from the one that generates weekend revenue.
